A user is a knowledge object with the following attributes. It is required to determine access to a node.

- userid
- unique userid
- homeserver
- the home server of the user
- fallbackuserid
- the userid of another user succeeding the user, when he/she dies or leaves the network
- active
- (boolean) whether the user is active or has died or left the network
