definition of a binary relation between k-objects

Relations between knowledge objects come in several types:

  • symmetric (or not)
  • antisymmetric (or not)
  • transitive (or not)

Relations may have inverse relations, e.g. the relation "is part of" has as inverse the relation "has as part".
